Making Cookies

We made cookies so we could send some to David and of course for us to eat too!

The kids love to do this.

Trying not to smile.

We didn't use frosting, but used a lot, I mean a lot, of sprinkles!

There are cookies under here somewhere.

This mean all of our cookies come out looking all the same, but still good.

Decorating Cookies

We got invited to go to The Other Monique's mom's house to decorate cookies in our pj's! Monique and her mom made tonssssss of cookies the night before so all the kids had enough cookies to decorate. The kids loved this, decorating the old fashion way as we did when we were kids. I am not ready for this mess at my house yet! Thanks Monique for including us. :)

Cheese...these are a naked cookies.

Getting right to work.

They are working so hard and could stop to look up for a picture.

He couldn't keep his eyes off his cookie.

Alex: I made that one!

Tia Chavela and her star!

Debbie and Tia Chavela decorating too.

We played outside for a bit to get all the sugar out of their system.

Picture time with Tia Chavela!.....

Glendale Glitters

Every year we go to Glendale Glitters with our friends Heather and Kyle. It is always a little cold, but we have a great time.

We went to dinner first and Alex fell asleep on the way there. Kyle is getting lots of daddy practice tonight!

Alex looking a little cold.

Our Busy Weekend

It started off by helping Grandpa Phil get boxes ready for a garage sale. Helping or making a bigger mess for Grandpa!

After a long, busy two days of the garage sale we came home to snow!! This is Arizona/Phoenix snow for us anyways.

We thought it was pretty cool, and cold!

Then on Sunday we celebrated Ryan's 20th birthday. Happy Birthday Uncle Ryan!!

Monique with Grandma and Grandpa

Grandma showing the kids how to hula hoop!

They almost got it!

Finally we got to decorating our tree. The kids did a great job.

This was my favorite...Alex put all the baseball players in one spot of the tree and when he came to the guitar he put on one of the players saying...

"Look he is playing the guitar"

Alex's Bus Tour

At preschool the city bus came to visit for a tour.

Waiting in line with his bus driver's hat.

Sitting looking around the bus.

Monique and I even got to for a ride on the bus.

Alex got to drive and honk the horn.

He was so excited!!

He had lots of fun!

Gingerbread Houses

After our Thanksgiving gingerbread men decorating, my mom took the houses and put them together for us so we could decorate them. Alex wanted to decorate his house just like Tia Veronica's, with the candies on top.

Nana helping Monique. For this moment she is not eating the candy!

These two are so serious!

The houses and train came out great...for our first time! :) Thank you Nana!!
