For their birthdays we went to Flagstaff for a little party!
How many birthday boys do you know will cook breakfast for everyone

as they(we) sit and relax waiting to be served?  It was a great breakfast in the Blue Room! 

Then we all did go to dinner where the birthday boys got  to be served.

Dance and Gymnastics

Monique started gymnastics!  She wanted to try it but didn't want to give up dance.

So we signed up for a class that is half gymnastics and half dance, with dance alternating between ballet and tap.  Perfect!!

She loves it!  And it is fun to watch her too:)

Alex's 6th Birthday Celebrations

It's time to get ready to party.  First things first, fill the pinata!

This birthday was an extra special one.  Alex did a food drive instead of birthday gifts.

I love this picture of Cash, Mo and Alex.  They look so sad the party is over or thinking "now what do we do".

 Right after the party we took all the food collected to St. John's Food Pantry.

 They were so excited to drop off all the food!

 St. John's is Mike's church he went to when he was little.  June is an old friend from the church that Mike's family still keeps in touch with.

We are so proud of our big six year old!

After dropping off the food we headed to Target so he could pick out his birthday present!

 It was a hard decision.

And he finally picked out a Nerf gun!

On his actual birthday he celebrated at school.

 And after baseball practice had a birthday dinner at Nana and Tata's house with the Grandparents.

He had a great birthday!!

Poor Monique

Our little girl got the chick pox, yes after we did get the vaccine. It didn't work for our kids because Alex got it too, (when he was four) but nothing like this. 

Sorry for the picture...I take picture of happy and sad kids.  They are memories:)

My poor little girl.  I felt so bad for her, there was nothing I could do to make her feel better those first few days.

When her fever finally broke and she was feeling better but still quarantine I let her do whatever made her smile.

She walked around in these shoes and wanted to get my wedding dress out.  She sees the big box up in my closet and always asks to get it down. It's always no until now.

I think she was still disappointed that it was still in a box after we got it out.

But she was excited when she got to wear my hair piece!

Thank God smiles again.
