Homemade Forts

Our living room has turned into forts for the kids.  Blankets hanging everywhere, the furniture moved and  cushions removed.  It is pretty cool because they will play here for hours!! (so it gives me time to do this)

Flagstaff for the Day

We went to Flagstaff for the day with my dad. He was submitting permits to add on to their camping house! We are so excited and can't wait for next years camping. The kids thought we were going camping and when we got there Alex said this place looks like camping. Same trees, dirt and rocks.

He found a lizard, he was right just like camping.

We walk to see this big train on the side of the road. 

And a tracker.

And we got to have lunch with Tio Tommy!  Then headed back home.

We almost made it

The weather was nice; only 91 degrees, so we went for a hike.

She finally made it around the whole block riding her bike!

Alex had Grandparents Day at school and had a great time showing them around his classroom.

The door bell rang and I thought it was my dad, instead it was David. The kids and I were surprised! 

We went to my parents house for dinner.

 They flew a plane to Tucson to the junkyard then drove to Phoenix for the a night stay.

Alex had a blast with them.

When they first came over to our house, they had their flights suits on still. Alex wanted to know why there were still wearing their costumes!
