Veterans Day

Happy Veterans Day to the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces.
Thank you for the tremendous sacrifices you have made to defend us and our freedoms that we all too often take for granted.

We had a buys Veterans Day. It started off by going to the parade down town.

Alex with Tia Debbie. He loved to wave the American Flag!

Monique was doing a good job too.

Here are just a few of the floats. The USS Arizona...one of these days we will make it to see the real one.

They had some pretty cool one!

Monique with the "other Monique" as Alex calls her and her niece.

Time for a little lunch break

Then it is back to waving to everyone!

She was a busy little girl!

We had lots of fun, hope to go again next year!

Then we to the cemetery to put our flag on some of the men who had served our country.
Walking to my Nana and Tata's spot to show the kids where they are buried.

Putting some flags in for my Tata who served our country.

Then after a little rest off to Mixteca for some dinner and dancing.

Alex was a dancing machine!

They had a blast playing the bongos with Rodger.

Alex trying to get Uncle Ryan to get up and dance!

No Tata don't kiss me!

Dancing up a storm with Tia Chavela and Tia Becky

I'm tired now. Nana will you take me home!

Alex Going For A Ride

We finally got a helmet for Alex for his bike.

So he can finally try out his bike.

And he is off!! The first day he just went up and down the street. However, everyday since when Mike comes home the first thing he wants to do is ride around the block! So he rides, and is getting pretty good and fast and Monique pushes the stroller.

When he got back the first time...he had to show off his bike to the little ones. He thought he was so cool!

Talking about cool guys...We saw/talked to Tio David and Tia Chanin the other day. David told us he just ordered a Harley!

He showed us his helmet, so Alex got one too!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween. We had a spider and a fairy.

Grandpa and Grandma came by to check out the cool costumes. Alex was ready to go!

Trick or Treat neighbors!

Grandma Kay took Alex around the neighborhood.

And Tia Debbie took Monique.

Trick or Treat daddy. Can we have more candy?

Alex with Tia Debbie.

While the boys hung out...

Alex passed out candy.

The little wolf pushing around the big spider!

Kids with Tata. Sorry Nana we missed you for the picture. She had to leave to pass out candy.

Pumpkin Carving

Monique's first thoughts...this looks like fun!

Alex was excited and couldn't wait to start.

Mo: You want me to stick my hand in there?

OK

Alex did a great job getting all the insides out.

Telling us and the pumpkin "no no".

That was gross!

Alex loved his pumpkin so much. :) in his words.

Mo thought this was one of those shape toys where you put the shapes pieces back in the container.

Mo has that look "you are crazy Alex"!

This is how creative we get! Alex wanted circles so I had to make mo's triangles!

Halloween at Uncle Randy & Aunt Krissy House

Grandma Laura got the kids a little something. As she is trying to read them the card all they want to do is check out what's in side the bags!! KIDS. :)

I think Uncle Randy just got a hole-in-one or got Alex in the head!

Uncle Randy made some smoking punch.

Alex thought it was pretty cool! We all did.

Whenever Monique sees a candle she thinks it's her birthday and wants to blow it out.

Reading a little story with Grandpa Phil.

The girls, Monique and Aunt Krissy hanging out watching the baby.

Alex always has lots of fun with his Uncle Randy!

I think they both slept good this night!

Alex's Costume Parade at School

All of us waiting for the parade to start.
Monique and Cash excited!

Here comes the green dragon, Wyatt!

And the little black spider, Alex!

I had to share these pictures. These are his first preschool pictures! So cute.
