Our First Camping Trip of the Year

We finally are camping!!!!
They were really excited to be able to come and spend the night.
It was kinda cold and windy...well let me say Alex and I had a jacket on most of the time and Mo and Mike were fine in t-shirts.
Did a little work to clean up.
Check out the new place!
Still has some work to do, but we can camp now.
How's it look now?
Visiting with some neighborhood camping friends.
This is what camping is all about...eating, drinking and relaxing!
And wheelbarrow rides!

cuddle time with nana
On Saturday Tommy came up with some friends and 6 dogs!
I cold not believe this!
Can you see anything?
poor little girl got sick
This was his favorite dog, Johnny (I think)
And this was his new friend, Scott.
They played horse shoes...
but then found out it was better to play swords with the stakes instead.
Alex won!
Gross, that is a melted marshmallows in his hands.
We had a hat party.
We came home a day early because Monique wasn't feel good.  She was better by Monday so we could go to my parents house for a Memorial Day bbq!

He loves his teachers.
Wyatt and Alex
Congratulations buddy!
Tia Debbie with the kids
and Nana and Tata too.
Grandma and Grandpa Walin joined us for dinner and Alex was so sad because he thought he was never going to see his teachers again.  He cried in the parking lot of school and in the car ride to the restaurant.
He was so sad.
But Grandma understood and told him he could go visit with them and he was better by the end of the night.
And it helped, the next day we stopped by his school and got to see his teachers!!! He was so excited and it made everyone feel good:)

First Dance Costume

She got her first dance costume for a recital she is not going to be in.  It was so cute and she is doing so well, I had to buy it.  We didn't put her in the recital thinking she is still to young, she didn't care she just loves her dance costume!
The snake isn't part of it, Alex told her to act like tree!

Mother's Day Swimming

For mother's day we had a day of swimming. Well, the kids did anyways.
First to church, a quick stop at my parents then to Grandma Laura's house for lunch.
They just got their pool re-done and it was just getting filling back up.  This was perfect for them! They could walk all around it.

Then we headed to my Nana and Tata's house for dinner and more swimming.
