While Alex was staying cool in the pool Monique and I watched in the shade.
Swim lessons did not go over so well. He didn't want to go and cried until he got into the water. One morning he even was crying in the parking lot! Once he got in the water he stayed right by his swim teacher or...
held on the the JR GUARD.
Alex would tell me at home he didn't want to go under water. His teacher was nice and didn't force him to go under. Here it looks like he is going to go under but his teacher stopped when he covered his mouth. Lucky!
By the end of the week he was jumping in.
And waving to us like he was having a good time. :)

Right after swim lessons one morning Alex went to the dentist. He sat in the chair like a big boy and did so well! Talking to the Dentist, we were not sure if this visit was only going to be sitting in the chair and talking or getting a cleaning done. We didn't want to scare him.
He did so good he got his x-rays done, the cleaning and the oral exam! I was so proud of my little guy.

So when we got done at the dentist we went to pick up Monique at Rachel's house. Rachel asked Alex "how was swim lessons?" Alex: "I cried". Then Rachel asked "How was the dentist?" Alex: "I cried just a little bit". Rachel asked one more question "What did you like better swim lessons or the dentist?" Alex: "The Dentist" What a funny kid!
