Fun Times Hiking

Thunderbird Mountain is our normal hiking trail.  It is easy for the kids (and me), we all can make it to the top without Mike having to carry anyone.  

Debbie joined us for this fun one.

 At West Wing the trails are wider and less rocky.  Monique just kept running.  She must be training for cross country already.

 The rest of us took our time.

 While Monique and Mike kept going, they made it to the top.

Pre School's Mother Day Celebration

For Mother's day at Monique's school they had a fun craft day and treated us like queens!

Bug Museum

 This is the Kindergarten project Mike will never forget.  This simple bug Alex was to make from home items landed Mike in urgent care with stitches in his hand.  It came out great after all that!  

Alex did his report on the Ten Lined June Bug.

Remember these guys from last years camping trip.

Our Easter Traditions

Easter weekend Laura and Phil always spends it at the lake.  We go for the day on Saturday and have a great Easter lunch, hang out and of course have an egg hunt! 

Everybody just loves to climb on the rock!

Oh and just relax!!

Easter Sunday comes very early.

 Alex got a nerf gun and Monique a scooter from the Easter bunny.

 Then off to Church.  I don't know why I have learned to take the picture before Mass.  Every year I say I am going to, since we are there an hour early, but every year I forget!  Alex did have a nice tie and Monique's dress was tied!  Kids, just glad they smiled!

Then off to the Seckler's house.

 Another egg hunt! 

 WOW all these eggs have money in them.

 What are they doing in the grass?

 Looking for worms in their nice clothes!!

Last stop the Villa Family.

 Monique rode her scooter around and Alex played a little golf.

 And still had time to go swimming.

 The kids decorated cookies also.

 Yummy!
