Happy Thanksgiving

We had a great, very busy Thanksgiving! Over two days we got to visit with most of the family. We miss those of you who were not able to be here. We have lots to be thankful for!!!

All the kids watching the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving movie.

Alex with his Nina Michelle.

We decorated gingerbread houses. This is the first time we did this and didn't know to buy the houses already made. So we decorated gingerbread men!

After Alex was done, Tia Veronica let us help her decorate hers!

These two little girls I think just ate all the candy!

Of these two guess who started the frosting on the nose?

Tata did, he even frosted tia!!

So Alex had to frost Nana too!

Tia Julie & Serenity

We got some cool gingerbread houses! Some of the family are professionals.

"Blue" is the bigger dog grandma & grandpa have. She is still a wild puppy so she usually stays in the room when we come over. However she escaped out the window!!

The kids like to pet Molly the small and calm dog!! :)

Monique is a strawberry eating fool. I think she had 10 of these on a stick.

Veterans Day

Happy Veterans Day to the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces.
Thank you for the tremendous sacrifices you have made to defend us and our freedoms that we all too often take for granted.

We had a buys Veterans Day. It started off by going to the parade down town.

Alex with Tia Debbie. He loved to wave the American Flag!

Monique was doing a good job too.

Here are just a few of the floats. The USS Arizona...one of these days we will make it to see the real one.

They had some pretty cool one!

Monique with the "other Monique" as Alex calls her and her niece.

Time for a little lunch break

Then it is back to waving to everyone!

She was a busy little girl!

We had lots of fun, hope to go again next year!

Then we to the cemetery to put our flag on some of the men who had served our country.
Walking to my Nana and Tata's spot to show the kids where they are buried.

Putting some flags in for my Tata who served our country.

Then after a little rest off to Mixteca for some dinner and dancing.

Alex was a dancing machine!

They had a blast playing the bongos with Rodger.

Alex trying to get Uncle Ryan to get up and dance!

No Tata don't kiss me!

Dancing up a storm with Tia Chavela and Tia Becky

I'm tired now. Nana will you take me home!
